Body-Grafix is a home-based knitting design business created by B'Ann Finlay.

B'Ann is a graduate from Sheridan College's Fashion Technique and Design, with a specialty in Knitting Design. Once she graduated from college, Beverley Ann worked with the design house of Alfred Sung and in the costume department of the National Ballet of Canada. She also did some custom design work.

How it all began:
Starting a family became a challenge for B'Ann when her baby boy was born with cancer. Jason lost one eye to Retinoblastoma, a form of cancer, and after the surgery he had to endure months of chemotherapy. To help her cope, and to pass long hours in the hospital, B'Ann turned to knitting. A sweater she designed during this time became the beginning of Body-Grafix.

She made Jason a bright red sweater out of her favourite cotton yarn. People started asking her for the pattern, so she decided to publish it. "Baby Checks" was Body-Grafix's first pattern, and it is still a favourite of B'Ann's. When Jason's little sister came along a few years later, B'Ann had the perfect team to design knitting for.
